Chatham Place extended Reading’s high street to the West and was a major part of the Council’s Reading City 2020 vision. The first phase of the residential element secured a Building for Life award in 2010 and was highly recommended.
Muse Developments built the scheme in 2009 and had a national managing agent appointed from the outset. In 2014 the contract with said agent came to an end and the directors of the management company undertook a competitive tendering process to select a new managing agent.
Atlantis were appointed unanimously by the resident directors and manage the scheme to date which includes ground floor commercial units, 211 residential apartments and the on-site concierge team.
Following instruction we worked alongside the developer, Muse and were successfully instructed to manage the entire estate in 2016 which includes a Q-Park with over 500 spaces and increased commercial space.
With the building now 12 years in age we are working tirelessly with our client to maintain and improve the scheme, ultimately ensuring that it retains a lasting impression for a great scheme in the heart of Reading.
